Skills
Teaching
I teach from beginner to advanced level both individually and in groups. I work towards grades and diplomas from the ABRSM and Trinity College exam boards. I am keen that lessons always cover technical elements so players can always strive to improve but I am careful that this is achieved in a musical and enjoyable way. My many years of instrumental teaching have enabled me to adapt lessons to suit every individual need and encourage discussions about expectations and achievements. I am keen to keep up to date with my teaching. I regularly receive training through the Northamptonshire Music and Performing Arts Trust and I am a member of ERTA which hold regular training events and discussions.
